Improve Your Golf Game With Subliminal Messages

Posted by on February 12, 2009

The game of golf is 90% a mental game, so learning to dominate the inner game of golf is important. Many golfers struggle for years until they learn how to use mental golf training techniques to their advantage. So until you know how to implement the mental game of golf, don’t spend any more money on the latest golf driver, golf training aid, or lessons.

So, what do subliminal messages have to do with golf, you may ask? Well, Tiger Woods has used Subliminal Affirmations since the age of 13. Also, most of the top PGA professionals use powerful mental techniques - it is what separates the top 5% of golfers from the recreational golfer.

What are Subliminal Affirmations?

Subliminal techniques work by using (audio) messages that go straight into your unconscious mind and bypass your conscious mind. Our unconscious mind controls our behavior and habits.

Your brain is sometimes filled with negative thoughts that tells you that you can’t do this or that, and it is constantly putting you down. But, since these affirmations are subliminal, they bypass your conscious mind and go straight into your unconscious mind, where there is no resistance.

Your brain will then pick up any messages that get through to it, and immediately use them to construct new thought patterns and behaviors. Subliminal affirmations for golfers make the complex movements of the golf swing become a natural action, just like driving an auto. Once your unconscious mind is trained properly, your golf game will work on autopilot - so you don’t have to think about it.

Powerful Subliminal Affirmations

Did you know that subliminal techniques were used in advertising? They were so powerful and effective that they have in fact now been banned. There are also subliminal programs that you listen to before going to bed that make you sleep deeply all night long and others that put you through a complete sleep cycle in only 20 minutes.

Other subliminal affirmation audio programs are used to help you with relationship building, love life, business success, or self confidence. They are powerful and proved techniques - but as a golfer, you almost certainly want to know how these techniques can help you improve your golf game.

Amazing Golf Mind Audio Program

A new mental golf program called Amazing Golf Mind can indeed help you take your golf game to the next level. All you have to do is listen to this program for just 20 minutes before going to bed, three to four times a week, and your golf game will improve and you will lower your scores - all without practicing! Traditionally, learning the mental game of golf techniques was not easy, but with the audio program from The Amazing Golf Mind it is easy as falling off a push-bike!

Finding Comprehensive Golf Tips Online

Posted by on January 24, 2009

There has been a fascination about mastering the often exasperating game of golf ever since the game was invented back in the 15th century in Scotland. The modern game of golf evolved into what we know it as today since 1750. But mastering the game of golf is still as difficult as ever, even though golf equipment technology and teaching techniques have improved greatly.

Fortunately, nowadays we have access to golf tips online through the Internet and golf tips newsletters. I have played golf for over 30 years, but I struggled to master the game until I began researching online. With the various golf resources available on the Web, it is now easier to learn new techniques that can make a big difference with your golf game.

There are also many first-rate paid products, like golf instructional videos, golf swing training aids, and even a few golf e-books that can help you master the game. But, you can also find some valuable free golf tips online as well. Take into account that you will find many different techniques - especially as regards to the transition from back-swing to downswing and the golf grip.

Just try out the different techniques and see what works for you. The golf swing is a fairly complex movement and there are several styles; from the traditional swing to the newer stack and tilt golf swing. Some online golf tips tell you to grip the club tightly, firmly or even loosely. These terms are quite subjective as to the amount of pressure to use, so just experiment until you find the right grip - I prefer "firmly.”

When finding golf tips online, remember that there is more to golf than just the golf swing. Search for websites that show you the most all-inclusive golf tips. One of the most important areas of golf, that is often ignored, is the mental game of golf. You want free golf tips? First, learn to dominate your inner game of golf.

It is important to know what the right golf equipment is for your type of game (golf clubs and balls.) If you are a novice, look for clubs that are matched for the beginner golfer as they are more forgiving to miss-hits. Buy a driver and fairway woods with a large titanium head, perimeter weighting, and a graphite shaft. For the irons, select iron shafts for accuracy, more sole weighting, and wider soles for easier playability. For high handicap golfers or beginners, play a two-piece, firm feel, mid spin golf ball.

Look for golf tips online that cover the whole aspect of golf. Some of the things you need to learn are the grip; setup and stance; backswing, transition, and downswing; driving, fairway shots, chipping, bunker shots, and putting; course management; how to fix problems like the slice, hook, and pull / push shots; and the different trouble shots you will encounter - playing into the wind, deep rough, hill lies, and more.

One option is to pay a professional golf coach to learn all these things, but you will end up paying a lot of money for so many lessons. I would recommend starting out to learn as much as possible with free online golf tips. You could then take a few one-on-one golf lessons and then go to the driving range to practice. Finally, get out on the golf course and play a round of golf - and remember, to master the game of golf, you need to practice - and have fun!

Understanding The Mental Game Of Golf

Posted by on November 16, 2008

As golfers, we are always striving to perfect our game. It is a continual battle for improvement that seams never ending. Even the professional golfers are constantly working on their game. When you see even the pros struggling to maintain a constant level, that shows you how difficult golf can be.

Why is it that less than 5% of all the golfers in the World can break 70? What do those golfers have that we don’t? According to golf manufacturers and their advertising claims, we need the same expensive golf equipment that the pros use to play to their level.

That obviously is marketing hype, as you can now pick up the same driver that a PGA star used last year for under $200. So, many of us do have technologically advanced clubs and golf balls that the pros use; why are we still unable to break 70 or even 80?

The fact is the average score throughout the last 30 years or more has scarcely changed. Multi-billion investments have gone into developing new technology for golf club and ball construction. Then add a few billion more on advertising that tells us that we need these expensive clubs and balls to improve.

There are clubs today that are easier to play, have over-sized heads, are more forgiving to miss-hits, plus golf balls that can fly straighter and further. Still, the majority of golfers are still struggling to shoot in the 80’s! It seams that a great golf game can not be bought; not even with all the golf swing guides, hundreds of new golf training aids, or up to date instruction methods.

What is the thing that the top 5% of golfers know that we don’t. It appears that that “thing” that they possess is mastery of the Mental Game of Golf. That is the missing ingredient that can promote the quickest and most lasting change in any golfer’s game. It is interesting to note that this is the only area that doesn’t cost a penny to use, however hardly anyone uses it.

The mental golf game: Using your mind in a calculated, methodical and focused way is the surest method of improving your game and lowering your scores. Mastering the Inner Game of Golf can do wonders for your game. But you have to understand how to implement the methods.

When you do, you will have have clear focus and mental toughness, be able to control your attention, cure your golf nerves and anxiety, eliminate anger from your game, and have confidence in yourself and your game – amongst other factors.

Knowledge of the mental game of golf is what separates the top 5% of golfers from the rest of us. You can see it in action on the PGA Tour because all those guys have access to the same equipment, golf swing gurus, and putting gurus. The difference between them comes down to how well they master their mental game of golf during each tournament.

It is difficult for them to maintain high levels of concentration and focus, at their level with all the pressure, week after week and year after year. That is why even the likes of Tiger Woods can not win every major in a year or even dominate the majority of events in a season, every season.

But for recreational golfers like us, understanding and using the inner game of golf techniques can have an immediate and long lasting positive affect on our game of golf. It is the fastest way to take your game to the next level and lower your golf scores. If you would like more information on how to start, then read How to Learn the Mental Game of Golf. You will also find a couple of free reports, Mental Game Tips and Mental Game Self Assessment, that you can download to get you started.
