To create longer drives, great golf swingspeed and longevity in the game it is essential to focus on golf fitness training. There are a few downsides to strength training if not monitored properly, this why training on flexibilty is also important.

The most important part of Golf Fitness training I am going to talk about is the importance of having a strong core. Referring to your abs and Back. Usually people tend to focus on bulking up their guns and think they have the power. But never focus on abs and back muscles which is potentially dangerous because you can have a huge muscle imbalance causing serious injury.

I’m going to give you some very specific information to help you go out there and drive the ball out of the driving range.

Be aware if your diet is helping your training, I highly recommend to make serious changes to your diet because it will dictate your results, trust me on this one.

Find foods that have a high source of protein and are low in fat eg. boiled eggs,Lean red meat, fish etc. These foods contain pure sources of protein to help repair muscle tissue after a work out. Recovery is really important. Very important also to drink plenty of water to replenish the body.

Now that you have that sorted I highly recommend you buy a swiss ball or maybe a high quality ab and back
workout machine. If you feel as though you are unsure of how to use a swiss ball please seek an expert or personal trainer for advice. There are many ab workout machines out there but I highly recommend a swiss ball. Because not only will you work on your core, most of these exercises tend to use all muscle groups which will bring you extra benefits as well as flexibility, which is very important for your swing because your core is the engine room and needs to rotate during the golf swing.

Now that you are aware of what to do go out there and make it happen
